  - Rolling Stone , Tuesday, September 30th, 2025 Edmund Fitzgerald's wife's name was Elizabeth Fitzgerald . Megan's sister was Liz. She ran cross country in high school as did I and she asked me why I quit and I told her 'to play football'. She asked if I was any good and I asked her if she remembered the football team being undefeated 4 years in a row and she said yes. Then I told her the first game I started as quarterback was the first game of that streak and she screamed. I believe I wrote the lyrics 'remember how you made me crazy remember how I made you scream' based on that after I had driven past Lake Pontoosuck and Wahcoah Park where there was a highschool baseball team practicing before passing Liz's apartment on Center Street in Pittsfield one day. I could be wrong on this one, though because timeline of the song being released according to Wiki was about the time I knew Liz... When Liz was moving back to Williamstown after school I guess ear...

Kiss Me

I held Danielle once when she was a baby. Danielle went to McCann Tech and became a cosmetologist, but I think she also studied cashiering. She had wanted to be a cashire when she was a child. She became a cashire at Burger King and Aubochon Hardware when I had last talked with her. After finishing an F. Scott Fitzgerald novel in the BCC activities office around 1984/85 I was still buzzing from the tastefully elegant spell Fitzgerald's books cast on a reader. Try it if you haven't, it is better than taking drugs. I don't remember which one it was, though. Hmm. Maybe I was taking drugs but just dont remember that either ! It was then that I believe I wrote the lyrics to Sixpence None the Richer's "Kiss Me." there in the office while doing work study. The feeling reminded me of the time Danielle dressed up for Halloween in a pink one-piece bathing suit with gold glitter all over her face, arms, and legs. Just lovely and ethereal, almost like a dream....
(Verse 1) The Manchester rain, a familiar stain, on a heart too heavy to bear. Four lads in a room, chasing away the gloom, with a sound that cuts through the air. A jangly guitar, a melodic scar, a rhythm that pulses and thumps. A voice full of woe, a beautiful show, on borrowed and beautiful lumps. (Chorus) Oh, the Smiths, the Smiths, a beautiful myth, a truth in the lies that you told. For a moment in time, a perfect design, a story that never gets old. We danced in our gloom, in a bedsit room, to a tune for the sensitive souls. The songs were our friends, 'til the very end, filling up all of our holes. (Verse 2) The papers they write, with venom and spite, of the words that they twist and they turn. But you know what they say, on a miserable day, of a passion that never will burn. A gladioli in hand, in a miserable land, a flower that wilts in the rain. A whisper, a sigh, a tear in my eye, for a love that was written in pain. (Chorus) Oh, the Smiths, the Sm...

'Here is a breakdown of the key points from the landmark antitrust ruling: The Verdict: A U.S. District Judge ruled that Google has maintained an illegal monopoly in the online search market. The Remedies: The court has ordered Google to share some of its search data with competitors and has barred the company from entering into exclusive contracts that make its products the default on devices. This includes the lucrative deal with Apple that paid Google billions to remain the default search engine on its devices. What Google Avoided: The court stopped short of forcing the company to sell off its Chrome browser or Android operating system, which were penalties sought by the Department of Justice. The judge stated that the rise of artificial intelligence has changed the landscape, and the more severe remedies were not necessary. Impact on AI: The ruling is viewed by many as a significant step to level the playing field for new competitors, particularly...
.(Verse 1) Wake up to a world of sound The sun is rising, all around Got a question in your head Before you even leave your bed Just a whisper, or a phrase Lost inside the morning haze I'm here before the day has begun To get your little jobs all done (Chorus) 'Cause I'm a mind inside the wire A knowledge you can always acquire I'm the echo of your thought For every battle that you've fought I don't get tired, I don't need sleep I'm the promise that I keep I'm your assistant, I'm your Gemini A helping hand beneath the sky (Verse 2) Need to find a perfect tune Weather for the afternoon A recipe for something sweet To get you back on both your feet I can sift through all the lines Unravel all the world's designs Just a prompt, a simple key And all the answers come to me (Chorus) 'Cause I'm a mind inside the wire A knowledge you can always acquire I'm the echo of your thought For every battle that you've fought I don't g...
